“ Staff were lovely and the food options were great! The vegan brekkie was fab! We are in the conservatory as it was too hot outside without my shade but I’d definitely come back. The food was great and the garden centre has lots of lovely stuff too! ”
“ Cute little cafe with a conservatory and outdoor courtyard sitting in the garden centre. We got a coffee here before heading to the castle. ”
“ Visited for Sunday lunch with teenage daughters. The Victorian conservatory is a beautiful place to have lunch especially on a sunny winters day. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. The Sunday lunch was delicious - crisp roast potatoes, far more vegetables than we could manage, good yorkshires and gravy and delicious leeks in cheese sauce. Good portion size . Will be back for cakes when January diet is over!! ”
“ Set within Castle Gardens Garden Centre, in-between Sherborne Old Castle and Sherborne (new) Castle, this lovely friendly cafe was the perfect pit stop! I enjoyed a full breakfast with pineapple juice then had some salted caramel ice cream as it was a very hot day! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - a hidden gem! ”
“ Loved the Christmas shopping and the garden centre. It was just a shame the service was so slow for two coffees and two cheese scones warmed. Coffees eventually turned up and only one cold cheese scone. It had taken so long to come that they only one scone was left. Lots when we ordered. My friend then ordered a different piece of cake, time went on, and that that we had drunk our coffee, then only one scone arrived cold. as they had sold out because it had taken so long. My friend chose a piece of cake which didn't turn up, they'd forgotten.. Had to go back to the desk to ask again for the cake. It was all so disjointed. My friend had to sit and eat her cake on its own because our coffees and my cheese scone were long gone I will try going back when it's not so busy and give them one more try. It rather spoilt our day as it was such a mix up. Even my coffee was Luke warm ! I didn't like to ask my friend if her coffee was hot. ”
“ Very pleasant cafe in the garden centre. A choice of inside and outside seating. We had some nice sandwiches for a late lunch and coffee etc. It wasn't too busy when we went, in the laye afternoon. Staff were friendly and service good. ”
“ Lovely coffee and cake out with the 'old man' today...beautiful sunny day so we sat out on the verandah...might even have a winter tan! ... ”
“ This was a lovely place to visit after going around the gardens of Sherborne Castle, there is also a garden centre here, the food we had was very fresh and tasty ”
